Time for another check in for me. Since my 70.3 in June I've been trying to get focused on letting my sciatica issue clear and work on my cycling. So, I've been riding pretty much 5-6 days a week and working on core and flexibility to give the sciatica a rest. I love it, been road cycling and mountain biking for the most part. I love the mountain bike.

Matt Reed and Julie Swail Ertel make U.S. Olympic Squad

Matt Reed held off Andy Potts and Hunter Kemper to secure a spot representing the U.S. in China. Matt Reed (1:52.15) followed by Potts (1:52.35) and Hunter Kemper (1:52.39). Julie Swail Ertel finished in 2:02:21. A recap can be found on USA Today.

Ironman Arizona Results

Super tight finish in the men's race with Jozsef Major running himself to the win with a 2:50 marathon. Just 1:14 separated the top 4 finishers. On the women's side California 70.3 winner Erika Csomor wins with a strong bike and marathon. Full results available on Ironmanlive Men's Top 5
