STOLTZ, McQUAID WIN XTERRA WEST CHAMPIONSHIP

TEMECULA, CA – Conrad “the Caveman” Stoltz of South Africa powered through the grueling XTERRA West Championship course at Vail Lake Resort in Temecula Valley in two hours and 28 minutes to win the first of four regional championships on the XTERRA America Tour today.

THIS WEEK: The first of five championship races on the XTERRA America Tour takes place in the wine country of Southern California. For the third straight season Vail Lake Resort in Temecula will host the XTERRA West Championship and sports festival. The main event – this Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

The Nevada Passage

The third annual Nevada Passage, an XTERRA-type adventure competition, will take 10 two-person teams nearly 1,000 miles across the Silver State to compete in events ranging from desert trail runs to back country skiing. The four-day, four-stage, made-for-TV event starts Tuesday.
