The first day of summer in Wales was a pretty typical day. Cool, misty, a bit of rain. Oddly enough this weather followed a few weeks of unseasonably high temps, so even the stoutest of Welshmen were confused by it all.

RICHMOND, VA – Father’s Day couldn’t have gone any better for Josiah Middaugh from Vail, Colorado as the 29-year-old turned in a brilliant bike and gutsy run to chase down South African Dan Hugo in the last mile to become the first American since Michael Tobin in 2000 to win the XTERRA East Championship on the epic trails of the James River Park System in Richmond today.

TEMECULA, CA (May 18, 2008) – On an incredibly hot day with temperatures in the upper 90’s Conrad “the Caveman” Stoltz of South Africa powered through the grueling XTERRA West Championship course in Temecula Valley in two hours and 23 minutes to win the first of four regional championships on the XTERRA America Tour today.
