2005 XTERRA World Champ Nicolas Lebrun won his third XTERRA Championship race in as many weeks - this time in his home country - and secured his third consecutive XTERRA European Tour Championship title in the process. With pros counting their best four scores in six events, Lebrun has three wins and a 2nd and with just two races left, no one can do better than that.

Sunday’s XTERRA Czech Championship race pits the current World Champ (Conrad Stoltz), against a former World Champ (Nico Lebrun), a three-time runner-up at the World Champs (Olivier Marceau), and a destined to-be World Champ (Dan Hugo). RICHMOND, VA – Father’s Day couldn’t have gone any better for Josiah Middaugh from Vail, Colorado as the 29-year-old turned in a brilliant bike and gutsy run to chase down South African Dan Hugo in the last mile to become the first American since Michael Tobin in 2000 to win the XTERRA East Championship on the epic trails of the James River Park System in Richmond today.

An infusion of young international talent, ITU World Cup athleticism, and NORBA greatness has mixed with the sport’s traditional powers to create one of the strongest and most exciting women’s pro line-ups in XTERRA history.

PELHAM, AL – Conrad “The Caveman” Stoltz overcame a flat tire and the hard charging Dan Hugo to win the men’s race while mountain bike phenom Shonny Vanlandingham pulled off the first big win of her XTERRA career to take the women’s XTERRA Southeast Championship at Oak Mountain State Park in Shelby County today.
