Specialized Transition Comp

by emzman on September 26th, 2009
I'm thinking about upgrading to a carbon bike and I test rode a Specialized Transition Comp recently. I currently ride a Cervelo P2 SL. The Transition is on sale right now. Can't decide whether to upgrade to the Cervelo P2 Carbon or the Transition. What are your thoughts?

Help! I used to ride with a Specialized Pea Brain Computer. Unfortunately, it had a little run in with a car and has been laid to rest. I cannot find a superior product!

Specialized Arc II- Superior Sunglasses, Hands Down

by Matt Russ on May 4th, 2009
Sunglasses are sunglasses. They cut the glare and protect your eyes. Besides that, they make you look cool. I would surmise that most cyclists choose their sunglasses based mostly upon design and fit. I have gone through dozens of over the years and I have not noticed a huge difference between the extremely pricey to entry level models.

FS: Specialized Tritip Gel Saddle 50mm saddle nose width

by Gsal on December 24th, 2008
Very gently used Specialized Tritip Gel 50mm nose width saddle with a hollow Cr-mo rail. Only used it in one sprint distance race (12 mile bike). Did not train on it, so i only used it once. Great saddle, super comfy and perfect for any kind of tri bike or road bike with aerobars. It retails at $105 and i'm only asking for $65, and that price includes shipping. Trek TTX 9.9 SSL vs. Specialized S-Works Transition

by Gsal on November 7th, 2008
Right now I ride a very basic road bike with clip on aerobars. That's been working for me, but I know for a fact that TT bikes are far more aerodynamic and that their seat tube angles relieve stress off of the quads to allow the legs to feel fresher on the run. FS: 2008 Specialized Transition E5 Comp 61cm

by beniger on July 24th, 2008
I BOUGHT THIS TRIATHLON BIKE TO TRAIN FOR AN IRONMAN NEXT YEAR. I'M GIVING UP BECAUSE AFTER SEVERAL SWIM LESSONS I STILL CAN'T SEEM TO SWIM MORE THAN 1 LAP. THIS BIKE HAS ABOUT 600 MILES ON IT AND I'VE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH IT. I'LL INCLUDE MY FIZIK TRI SADDLE WITH IT. NO PEDALS OR EXTRAS. IT'S A 61CM, I'M 6'4" AND IT FITS ME GREAT, I THINK WOULD FIT SOMEONE 6'1" TO 6"6" PROBABLY. IMFL 2009 www.ironmanadventure.blogspot.com www.TRImapper.com www.TRIjuice.com
