Your Ironman is Over; What About Life As You Know It?

by Patrick McCrann on July 3rd, 2009
Fast forward to Tuesday or Wednesday after your Ironman. It's very likely that you're sitting on the couch, with your shattered legs on the coffee table, scratching your sunburned head as you try to remember your dog's name--which you've forgotten--because all you've thought about for the past 6-9 months is Ironman.

Registering for the 2010 Ironman Florida

by transamman1999 on June 17th, 2009
I'm wanting to do Ironman Florida in 2010 (NEXT YEAR not this year) and I'm curious what is the best way to sign-up for it? I was reading on their website and saw this note: "Most full Ironman races sell out within hours of opening entry the day after each event. Please plan to sign up a year in advance if you want to secure a general entry spot."

Ironman CDA 2009 Race Preview

by Patrick McCrann on June 15th, 2009
With just about seven days left before the race, athletes are in full-on taper mode, packing and reviewing final preparations before making the trek to beautiful Coeur d'Alene, ID. Without a doubt, a large part of pre-race anxiety is due to not knowing what race day will bring in terms of the course, weather, the competition, etc.

Traveling to Nice

by BocciaAD on April 20th, 2009
I am traveling to Nice in June/July with my boyfriend who is doing Ironman France. I am wondering if I should take his Ritchie Bike (which breaks down into a suitcase - but is too big for me) or if I should try to rent one? If I rent, does anyone know of a place to go? Any suggestions? I want a road bike.
