WASHINGTON, DC -- The third annual Nation’s Triathlon® will take place Sunday, September 14, 2008 in the nation’s Capital. This Olympic distance triathlon includes a 1.5k swim in the Potomac River, 40k bike course through downtown D.C., and a 10k run along Washington, DC’s monumental corridor.

( Henderson , Nev. ) October 03, 2007 – The Nevada Silverman Triathlon is excited to announce that Chris McCormack, “Macca,” confirmed today that he will race in the 2007 Nevada Silverman Triathlon. The Nevada Silverman is a full-distance triathlon consisting of a 2.4-mile swim; 112-mile bike and 26.2 mile run held annually in Henderson , Nevada .
Austin Gets Half Iron Distance Event

Austin,Texas, often considered one of the hot-spots for triathlon in the U.S., has never hosted a long-course race. On October 6-7, 2007, history will be made at Walter E. Long Park, when Endorfun Sports presents the first Half Iron length triathlon in Austin: a 1.2 mile swim in Decker Lake, followed by a 56 mile bike, and a 13.1 mile run.

Leading the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Triathlon professional field are Australians Greg Bennett and Emma Snowsill who are the 2006 LA champions and who are leading the points race in the Life Time Fitness Triathlon Series heading into the LA event, the fourth of five races in the Series.
