Tri Bike for under $1000?
by corydon7188 on August 20th, 2008
I'm looking to purchase my first Tri Bike so i can start training for next summer.
I did some online browsing and found alot of Tri Bikes are over 1000 if not 2000 dollars. Does anyone have any suggestions for me regarding where to look for a cheap, but still good Tri bike; preferably under $1000????
Final race and Lessons Learned
by diluzio123 on August 18th, 2008
I posted a longer note on this on my blog, but here’s the story. On my last race I had my first mechanical issue. One of my tubes fell off my hydration wing and got caught up in my chain and rear derailleur. I checked my CO2 but didn’t check to be sure my tubes were in tight. Lesson learned.

Fun rides end with crash
by cjhoffmn on August 10th, 2008
I spent last week in Cape May, NJ on vacation with my family. We met up with 4 other families there including one of my friends who moved away to the midwest - haven't seen him in about 2 years. Going back about 7 years ago, he used to kick my *** on the bike, so I was keen to see how we'd ride together now that I've spent the last year training.
To tri or not to tri - that's not a question at all!
Lower Back Pain in Aero Position
by BugahaRob on July 30th, 2008
In the aero position I'm noticing that I start to develop pain to one side of my lower back. The pain is like a cramp or a side ache. Does this mean I'm too bunched up?
Also, why does it seem like a flat course goes uphill both ways?
Thank You For Your Help..........and the New Bike Is?.......
by J.Michael on July 8th, 2008
Well, I spent almost my entire day off at the bike shop today.
I must say, it would be awesome to work at such a high end shop.
I spent the day getting fitted on 4 different bikes and riding them. (on the trainer as it was raining outside)
I rode (kind of) a 2008 Orbea Ora (dura-ace special edition), 2007 Felt B2, 2008 Felt B12, and (of course) 2008 Cervelo P2C.
Headache
by toni on June 29th, 2008
Lately, whenever I go out on the bike within half an hour into the ride, I get a bad headache. The kind that you can't ignore or will it away. Even tylenol doesn't seem to work. I first got it while I was riding up to 1200 ft two weeks ago. But now I seem to get it everytime. It makes me want to get off the bike.

Passed on the run by a person with Clip Ins on
by defro781 on June 8th, 2008
Running a 19 min 5k... got passed. The gentlemen was clappity clanking down the street. He smoked me still wearing his bike clip in shoes.
I never saw him after the race, but I assume he just forgot to bring his running shoes and decided to just run it out.
I imagine that couldn't be comfortable. Anyone ever run with clip in bike shoes on? What about barefoot?
