The patented curved lens provides 180-degree peripheral vision without distortion. The dive-quality silicone skirt provides a comfortable, watertight fit and easy-adjust buckles let you concentrate on your workout - not on your equipment. The Seal was first recognized for its quality by Ironman triathletes but these unparalleled features are equally beneficial to fitness and recreational swimmers alike. Available in a variety of frame colors and four lens types: clear, tinted, mirrored and amber.
I own this mask but use it only for training in the pool. For OWS and races I use something else.
This is the only goggle/mask that fits my face without leaking. I use it in the pool and for races. It has a 3+ dork factor for looks, but a 5+ rating for doing what it's supposed to.
Yeah...I have TWO pair actually. One is old and has the tinted lenses. There's a thin piece of tinting over the regular lenses which over the years has become separated causing pretty poor visibility. They are my backup pair. But I liked them enough to get another pair, this time not tinted.
Ditto on the face-fitting factor (and the "dork factor...) Oh well...
You know what they say.....big head....big goggles. If you have an, um, large noggin, these are perfect. No slippage off the bridge of your nose and leaking, even when say - a stray foot hits your mask, is minimal. Yeah you look like Spalding from Caddyshack, but worth it when it comes to the whole "seeing in the water" thing.
