The race is done. It was a fantasic year and I had an incredible day-- not perfect, just incredible. Now, I'm trying to figure out what to do with all of my spare time. Ten months to IMLP.:D

Congrats on your Ironman!!! It is amazing how having the right person in the right place at the right time can make such a huge difference.

Read it over on endurable - again great job - all that good living pays off! Breaking down in front of the mechanic! Glad you weren't hurt any worse and that he was able to get you rolling.

Nice job Ironman!

cayman, congrats on successful race! it sounded pretty anxiety free despite the bike/knee issues! you've got your nutrition and mental game together...!
that was a first ironman for you?

(I'm wondering about my potentially rusty head tube now:confused: )

first and definately not the last.

rust never sleeps. i was meticulus about wiping the bike down and I had it into the LBS for a tune up just the day before I shipped it out.

Congrats on the finish. You never really know what the day will throw at you, so the ability to adapt mentally and move forward is what matters most.

Great Job!! Way to keep a cool head.

Your race report had me wondering if you made it.

Sounds like you improvised, adapted and overcame the adversity.

maybe we can catch up so I can hear more of the gory details before I head down to Maryland at the end of the month.

Talk to you soon.

Congrats again!!
