Four years ago I did the Little Smokies HIM (Or tried to do) Which is run concurrently with the HIM on Sunday of this race. I was very impressed with the set up and how the whole thing was handled. HFP Racing does an amazing job. On race day when I did it..My swim was fine and I was tearing through the bike (yes even on those hills) when near the end of the first lap of the I broke,yes,broke the crank on my bicycle...stripped the crank right off the spindle. End of the Race. Spent the rest of the day as a vol...being very impressed by the folks who had finished all three days! I'd go again but it's on Memorial Day weekend and an annual canoe trip/cookout gets in the way!

Love those hills. Good job riding those mean hills and you must be good to fly up them...I just get up the best as I can and then fly down. :eek: I'll let yall' know if I survive

If you really want to do this you might need to hurry as the 3 day is limited to 200 slots and they are at like 178 now. And you can do it as a solo if you want ....I am :eek:

The camping(Park campground ) is really close,,,the bike course goes by it. The entrant list is up to 185 as of this am. It is really beautiful in May...but I am biased I live there, about 10 min. from the Park :D Good Luck,

I know it is hard to contain the excitment. I am lucky because HPF is having a Training Palloza in March out at the Park , for the public and for Wheelie Fun Tri Team,so I will be trying to kill myself then with the much faster than me Wheelie Fun Tri group.
Saw your team got in. The reg. is now up to 190. How much fun is this going to be :D

I looked for you but you were always in the front and I never did see ya:)
I got Fri and Sat done but didn't start Sun had a personal issue with my bike seat. But I'll get it next year. Thanks for coming up to So. Ohio

Hello all,
Just wanted to let any one that might be interested to know that the DeSoto Triple T, 3 day , 4 race event is almost full. I think that there are about 25 slots left. This is one of only a few 3 day, 4 race events. It is for 2 person teams or solo racers. It is in Southern Ohio and is really a challenge. I am doing this race myself for the first time. I did just the 1/2 last year and volunteered for the other races. It was very inspiring to me to see everyone do so much in 3 days. I just had to do it. But I wanted everyone to know that it is going to be fun and if you are looking for a Early season race this could be it. All the info is on hfpracing.com (not I do not work for HFP,,, :D Just think this is a great race)
