Nice report - congrats again. Even with the run issues - still a big PR. Plus the knowledge that sub-11 is doable!

As always, way to push through. Each IM is a learning experience physically AND mentally. Take home what you can, digest and implement the changes in training to do even better next time. you know your limiters, work on them to become stronger. Way to push through all the pain. We who have done these things can relate. It's tough out there....another world. But that is what makes this game fun. It's a struggle and battle. Congrats on the PR. You should be proud of yourself. You did many things right. Remember that. Now to tweak the "non-right" things. Way to go Paul. And to your Dad. We all would be happy to be able to complete an IM at that age. Bravo to both of you!

Great job Paul! I just read your report. I think I saw your dad enjoying his picnic at the bike special needs. I looked up his race # and it was close to mine (I was 2147) so I'm pretty sure it was him. He looked to be enjoying himself eating his sandwich and watching the racers go by! Congrats to him too!

"Why can't I put together a solid run?" sounds familiar. But each race it gets closer and closer, and you learn more. Great job out there, and to your dad as well. That relaxed attitude is a great one!
