Hey,

So, I am from the West Coast, but may be spending the summer in the Dartmouth, NH. I was wondering if there are any good races around there.

Thanks!

Check out:
Firm-racing.com
streamlineevents.com
maxperformanceonline.com

All of these are the best multisport production companies in Massachusetts. Also for big races you got Timberman, Providence 70.3.

I really like the maxperformance races... The ones I have been to were really well run and the venues were nice. How long are you going to be in town? The autumn races up here rock.

I really wish F.I.R.M would update their website - it looks like it belongs to either an old lawfirm or a small startup with no future. It makes me think they don't have their crap together, although the race I did was pretty good and had a lot of free samples.

There is also Pumpkin man 70.3 in Maine and Nutmegman 70.3 in Connecticut, and Rev3 Quassy 70.3 in Connecticut. All would be pretty easy drives from NH. I hear the best things about Rev3, Timberman and Mooseman. The Amica 70.3 in Rhode Island is supposedly pretty hilly.

Timberman - great all around venue, and a hilly course, very family orientated,
Rev3- very, very, hilly bike course and run course- didn't do it, but looks like an awesome course, may sign up for next year.
Have not done Providence but have read alot of good things about it. I don't think the bike course is as hilly as the Timberman.

endurofun runs the timberman and a several other events, Providence is run by Ironman, and REV3 is its own race entity.

If you are looking for a 70.3 distance event, either of these 3 are all great races.

WOW! These all sound great! I am digging the names. Unfortunately, I will only be in the area until late August. Gotta get back to school and all.

I'm in for Rev3 Quassy HIM (early June) and Timberman 70.3 (late August). Should be a *fun* summer.

Why? Many people have asked me... to test my limits ... and to push beyond them.

I'm signed up for Columbia, Mooseman International, Timberman 70.3.... And I keep getting close to signing up for Providence but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I'm not sure I need another half iron on the schedule.

check out www.rushtonsports.com for the Vermont Sun series. Couple of sprints, an olympic and half IM. Also Shelburne Athletic club just south of Burlington has a race series.
