I'm in. My lack of core strength would be funny, if it weren't so sad.
Starting today! I purposely didn't do core yesterday because I wanted to save it for today. Points coming in later.

Popped in a Yoga tape tonight too. It's been a while and I need to get back into it. This time, all four kids and hubby tried it with me. It was hilarious. And humiliating that my 6 yr old is so limber she can out pose me easily!

I foresee that I am going to go crazy over 50 days unless I expand my repertoire. So does anyone have a link to a website with demos of a lot of different core exercises?
Preferably gadget-free ones, though I do believe Mrs. PJT keeps a balance ball in the basement.
Did this last year and am trying again. Got my wife to commit to it to. If we both do it, there will be a nice dinner out for both of us, without our infant son, as a reward.
Yesterday: 3 points for me, 2 for her
Today: 3 points for me and will add a few more after pm session with her.
4 more points last night, hopefully get a few more post run this arvo.

Round 7 (Starting Date is Monday, November 9)
This one will bring us full circle. A full year of core for some.
The challenge is open to any and all. Participate and post as much or as little as you would like.
This time we are going back to basics. Core only, so any exercise that targets the abs, obliques, and lower back is what it is about. Make your own judgements as to the validity of your exercise.
Rules:
1. 100 reps = 1 point.
2. 1 minute of timed exercises(planks etc.) = 50 reps.
3. Core specific exercises only. Abs, obliques, lower back.
4. Begin Monday, November 9 and End Monday, December 28 (The 28th counts for total pts).
5. You are NOT out if you miss a day, but the goal is to work the core for 50 straight days.
6. On this thread, we can post our daily or weekly totals and share routines/results. etc.
7. The picture page can be used for those interested in before and after pics.
8. Determine the added worth of certain exercises and give yourself the extra points.
Ex. Reverse roman chair leg raises might be worth double. So 50 = 1 point.
This is not a competition, it is for personal improvement, so this won't be a problem.
