hey guys i need help to pick a trainer, im deciding between 2, the v270, or the tacx sirius,
i found the sirius on sale for 399 cdn, and i found a v270 that was used like 15 times for 300, just wondering what everyone else would choose, or if you know a good trainer for someone just getting into it all on a limted budget.

much thanks

Hi kale1984, I'm unfamiliar with the Tacx but I looked at the minoura when I was researching mine. The flywheel is fairly small and the footprint doesn't lend itself to a sturdy ride. I ended up going with the 2010 Blackburn Tech Mag 6. I've posted a review on this site so check it out but to sum up, I've been very happy and the price is in line with what you're looking at...lifetime warranty as well.

Are you looking at the mag trainers just on budget? I thought I read the fluid trainers were more road like and thats why I bought a fluid.

Kurt Kinetic Fluid Trainer (road machine). Got one, love it, got a great deal on it and def within your budget. $248USD plus shipping from detroit, MI area
