o.k. let's throw down some predictions on Sunday's race. Who do you think will win, or have a career performance?

Here's my top three...
Men:
Crowie
Lieto
Macca

Women:
Wellington
Carfrae
Corbin

Somehing always seems to happen to the defending champ in the men's race.

Women
Wellington. Course record.

Sweet picks guys. I'm changing mine to put the Bro at the top. Didn't want to seem like I was biased. But I am ;)

Crowie

Tribro -- if you're really biased, let's put one of the darkhorses up there...

That's great. I didn't know Matt was racing Kona. Hopefully most of the family made the trip to support them and enjoy themselves.

I was wondering which Lieto you meant :)

I can give what I'm hoping to see....

1 or more Lieto's on the podium on the Men's side, and Crowie. I like him :)

And for the women, I can't wait to see how Tereza Macel does!

Not much question on the women's race....

Just keep spinning....spinning, spinning....uh, do I know you?

I love the Lieto brothers and I mean that... but if I were betting cash:
1. Crowie
2. Macca
3. Henning
4. Llanos
5. Chris Lieto

I love Macca - great guy, great athlete. But I just think that Alexander is just too fast on the run...running a 1.11 half during a 1/2IM is sick...he goes 1.04 or better on an open 1/2 marathon. He had a great season, is fresh and I think he'll go very close to 2.40 on the run. And he'll keep it close on the swim and bike... my best guess.....but I hope everyone has a great day and a great race....

I'm pulling for the Lieto brothers! Would love to see Chris go to the front on the bike and hang on to the end on the run!

I haven't heard whether Potts has recovered from the Chicago bike crash. I hope so. I'm looking forward to seeing Potts out there.
Someone from my hometown actually got in via the lottery. I can't wait to see her results as well.
