I bought a 2nd wheel, and put a trainer tire on my old wheel to use only on the trainer. I noticed that there is a broken spoke on my old wheel. Does it matter for a trainer? Can the bike shop fix it? These are some seriously cheap wheels I'm guessing, but I'd rather not spend money another new wheel, even a cheap one, to simply use on the trainer.

Any GOOD bike shop could fix it...but here's your chance to tinker! Fix it yourself or get the folks at the LBS to show you how...replacing a spoke is NBD (no big deal) but getting the right tension can be a bear without a little help or experience. If time is an issue...forget all that DIY stuff.
It does matter because the wheel will go out of true and a wheel not round is no wheel at all!

That's what I was hoping to hear. Thanks!
