I was thinking the same thing, divamom- put it away, up in the attic or at a friend's house even, it'll be cheaper to pull it out when you're better

It'll come sooner than you think. I had my labrum surgically repaired and I was back in the pool in about 3-4 months if memory serves. Arthroscopic has cut down on rehab time significantly.
