Any tricks on keeping water out of your shoes during a race? IM Nice is supposed to be hot and all the videos I've seen show athletes getting hosed with water. That's great until the water drains down into your shoes, adding quite a bit of moisture and weight to already heavy, blisterey feet. And once it's there it never seems to evaporate, no matter how hot it is.

Try the line of Zoot running shoes. They have holes in the sole for this very reason!

+1

Last month I ran a marathon in Zoot Ulta Tempo shoes when it was raining, and they seemed to drain well.

Thanks for the recommendation for Zoots! Now if I can find a local shop who carries 'em....
