I thought I was done with acne!
Aorry, no help here. However, I have noticed the same thing but I assumed it was the pool. All of the chemical in the water can't be good for anything.
I wear a roadie hat under my helmet (hold the flames) and I wash it after every use. ok, so I have a couple hats. That seems to do the trick as for the helmet. But the pool does really burn my skin if I go more than 4x a week for an extended period.

Try this:

I wear one often and it does a great job of soaking up the sweat and you can wring it out...douse it with water and it will cool you.
Or a bike cap...you know those dorky things with the little brim.

I wash my face before and after I put the helmet on because I am paranoid I will have a huge underground development somehow if I don't. I also loofah my face every morning, and cold water closes the pores. Thats what my wife tells me to do anyway. I haven't had achne in a while though. Every few months, maybe 1.
You may want to try washing your helmet after each use with some mild bleech mixture to kill any bactaria that may be growing as a result of sweat, etc... when your not using it.
Pain is the sensation of weakness leaving the body!
I cut the sleeves off of my old t shirts and use them as forehead protectors/bandanas. I'll wear them under my helmet if its getting hot out. They fit perfectly because they're so thin. Otherwise, my helmet has a velcro piece of fabric on the inside that comes out. It tends to soak up all the sweat and I try to clean in once a week or so.

I ignored that jhudalla wears a cycling cap.
Don't be hate'n on me. The roadie dudes hate me for the itu setup, the tri dudes hate me for the road bike/crit-racer look, the swimmers hate me because I look like a linebacker... I get no love.

roadies hate us because we actually have an upper body.
... so I don't look like I am still 17? Thanks!
I wouldn't mind looking like I was 17 again! I could do without the acne, but I might even deal with that if I could have the other benefits.
Dude, the loofah is totally the best thing ever. Nothing like a loofah, a clean shave, and a beer.

We won't hate you for being pretty ;-)
Nothing to it, but to do it
Q: If you tear the brim off your roadie cap, does that make you (A) more cool for not having that stupid little flap sticking out, or (B) less cool for wearing a beanie? BTW, if you leave the brim on, but cut a big hole in the top, you have a Euro visor. That would be the definition of cool.
In many helmets you can take the fabric liners out(having them sit on your forehead is probably causing the problem) Stick them in a lingere bag and throw them in the wash, then stick them back in on the velcro. Keeps the helmet from getting too stinky too :)

Thanks for the advice. Hopefully I can look more grown-up!

Now sing that to the tune of "I feel pretty, all so pretty".
LOL
After my rides I just rinse out my helmet. I use hand soap to lather up the forehead padding and rinse it thoroughly. Also I wash my face as soon as I can to clean all the dirt and sweat from my face. I have baby wipes in my car to wipe the grime off after rinsing my face with a water bottle if there are no facilities around.

I have been noticing that I am breaking out a lot. Yes, I mean acne. I thought that only happens when you are an awkward teenager. It has been appearing mostly on my forehead. I chalked it up to training a lot and sweating a lot. But today, while on a bike ride, it hit me....it is from my bike helmet! So does anyone have any advice on how to protect my forehead so I don't look like I am still 17? Thanks!
