Has anybody else discovered the wonderful product that is biofreeze? They have given it out as samples at a few running races I have done and until recently I never tried it. I am hooked. It feels so great on sore joints after long workouts. I just bought a 16 oz bottle of the stuff and am trying to keep from putting it on every ache i have!

I have used it and it is a great product.

Don't take this as some shameless advertisement for my wife, but just a comparison of products. The two are very similar. My wife sells Arbonne and I also use something called Bionutria Muscle Massage and Pain Relieving Gel. I use it on my shoulder mostly and the interesting thing is that I put it on and initially it is hot and then fades away, but then if I start to use my shoulder a lot I will feel it heat up and start working again.

Biofreeze is amazing. Works great if you put it on before a workout and during the workout. The last I heard you cannot buy it in stores. I do not remember where I got mine, but you can google it and get it from the web.

My chiropractor carries it. Probably safe to say that a chiropractor or physical therapist in your area would too.

I like it. It works fairly well for what it is. Definitely not gonna loosen up locked muscles, or make DOMS feel a whole lot better, but tis a great distraction for those little aches and pains. Way better than Icy Hot or Ben Gay

Life is short. Play hard and get dirty doing it.

I picked up mine at a local running specialty store. You may also check with some of your local massage therapists and chiropractors. I love the stuff!

I have been using that for a few years. They had it at a bunch of race expos.
My chirop has it, but I have a ton of samples ;-)

Nothing to it, but to do it

Usually you can get it at a chiropractor, physical therapist, massage therapist or medical professional. Comes in a roll-on, tube or spray bottle usually anywhere from $8 -$14 a bottle. Just one word of advice while using biofreeze, wash your hands after you apply it burns if you touch the wrong areas.

Beads put me up to it! He got me hooked!
I love the stuff! I use it during events, carrying a few bio-freeze packets. At Disney they pump it by the gallon. I use the tube stuff after particularly horrendous workouts...
My wife uses it on bug bites! The only thing she's found that gets the itch to go away.

Don't forget ice packs and ice baths, a more natural way of mitigating the strain on joints.
