That's a good one. I had a similar experience, but with a different (albeit funny) twist: My IM finish photo has a kid in the background running with his mom. My friend commented, "Wow, you beat a little kid. Whoopee. It can't be that hard if a little kid did it too."

Who's the "family at the finish hater" on TriFuel? This is definately ammo for him.

In the thread: "You do Triathlon.... Yeah right" there are numerous examples of people who try to knock others down. I had the opposite happen this past week and I've found it to be quite amusing.
A friend was asking about my race and wanted to see photos so I sent him a finish photo. He's not familiar with the concept of putting the banner back up for EVERY finisher and thought I had won. He congratulated me on winning the Ironman. :) We all need friends like him.
