An Odd Form of Motivation

Ok so I just got back from Hawaii, and it was both the best and worst trip I've ever taken (I know poor me right =p). It was great because I did a lot of fun things and really enjoyed myself, the typical the hell with any form of healthy eating and yes I'll take my 3rd hawaii island ice tea!. The part that made it really bad was missing my race due to injury and then watching the race. It was just infuriating to me, to have trained so hard and so long to miss a race by 3 weeks. But it gave me so awesome motivation to come back at as soon as I can but this time even more prepared and faster. Just thought I'd share, and good job to anywhere here who raced, tough conditions out there this year!

Just suck it up, and get ready for the next race ;-)

At least you got to enjoy Hawaii :) And better luck for the next race!

There are worse places to get 'stuck' and no be able to do the race.
Next time if you are in the same situation see if you can volunteer.
