Bag suggestions

I have had my faithful tri bag (desoto: older style) for 5 years and now has a hole in the netting where you keep your shoes. I liked that bag since it was smaller and could take it to the gym and would fit in the locker. However, I am ready to try something new, more of a back pack style. I have a TYR for racing only since it is huge on me, I am 5'2"

So if you have a bag that you like, let me know.

Thanks in advance!

I use a 5 gallon bucket from Home Depot and I like it. Looks like you are looking for something a bit fancier.

I use the Rocket Science bag; it doubles as my gym bag nicely.

That's cool, old-school smooth.

I have the Zoot training bag. I can manage to get everything in it.....even the wetsuit. It comes with (2) LED lights that you can use while riding your bike.

I do the same!

Weary is the path that does not challenge.

I've used the T2 from TriathlonBag.com for over a year now and love it. It's big, so I use it mainly for races and the Monday/Friday "take everything to/from work for the week" days. The wetbag that comes with it is wonderful for trips to the pool, and doubles great for sweatchecks too.

I had a TYR bag which I liked until it was stolen a couple of weeks ago. I replaced with a DeSoto... the open top kind. I like this bag much better. It's just easier to get in and out of than the zipper kind. The top closes with a draw cord so nothing comes out.

When i got started competing i shopped around for a bag and couldn't rationalize spending that money. so i looked through the 6-8 old soccer bags i have, i found this one that i got free for doing well in a fund raiser

it's absolutely perfect for tri's, one shoe pocket on each side, a mesh part in front for wetsuit, and a large internal pocket for helmet and other things. you can get that bag for pretty cheap online. it is the adidas copa 2. there are a few newer models, but the mesh is done differently and it wouldn't drain as well. It is seriously the perfect size for my gear.

Here's the link from above.

If you ever want to get the whole link when it's cut off like that, just click on the "quote" link, and the whole link will show up in the text that you're quoting (hopefully that made sense).
