Ironman CdA Podcast
For those of us not doing CdA (and/or not motivated enough to download the podcast), could you give us an executive overview? What's the temp?
it is 51 degrees at the swim start currently.
Now i don't mind a cold swim, but that is ridiculous. And as I'm doing CDA i'm hoping it warms up a bit. Not crazy though as i want the outside temp to be in the 70's.
Holy ice cubes people! I can barely stay warm in the pool on some days. Those temps will turn me into an otter pop...looks like I may need to go buy me one of those neoprene caps or something. Man, let's hope for some warmth up there in the next 3 weeks.
The two things I walked away with were:
- By race day, the water temp will be in the high 50's to low 60's.
- Make sure your name is on the participants list. I guess people show up on race day and they aren't on the list. Bring your receipt to prove that you ARE on the list.
Other than that, it was just a bunch of typical stuff about the volunteers, signing up for next year, being respectful of the locals, etc.
