Nice...But I live in the Midwest, so I'm more jealous of the scenery

The truck is nice, but I LOVE the view from your house. All I can see from my house is a bunch of drunk (or high) college kids! LOL!

Living in their shadow all the time you forget just how gorgeous the area is. The Mountains are great, until you are half way up one of the canyons on a training ride! Joking aside, the canyons are awesome for riding. The right fork of hobble creek is still closed to autos until Monday. That ride is moderate climb and when it is closed like it is, just amazing.

She gets about 20 mpg. not great but not worse than my last car either.

Very Very nice, and definitely jealous of the mountains, all I have here in Orange County is cloudless 75 degree beach weather ;) I was contemplating one of those but they were out of my budget a little too much and I needed a truck for work stuff (Construction), so I went with a Tundra. But do the bikes fit inside or what?

I've seen a lot of those FJ's in the last few weeks. They look like a nice machine to take off road. Hummers recently got the image of something that nobody wants to get dirty. Hopefully people don't start adding chrome, low profile tires, etc... to these nice Toyota's.

Hopefully you have the chance to get it stuck in the mud at least once.

As I'm contemplating the purchase of an emasculating vehicle, you have to go and flaunt this. [sigh]

Oh yeah. With all the mountains in the area, I will have plenty of opportunity. I have owned a 72 ford bronco and loved wheeling it. Doing a Tri at Lake Powell in October, going to make a stop in Moab.

I love it. What a beautiful ride.

I live in Provo, and I love to ride Hobble Creek. I just found a back way to get there so I can avoid State Street in Springville. Let me know if you ever want a slow riding buddy (I wish my nickname was one of those ironic ones, like the tall guy named tiny, but it's not). Anyways, I love the mountains too. I think we're pretty spoiled here in Utah, because anyone that comes here from the east or central states is always in awe at the mountains. What a beautiful place to live. And now it's finally getting nice and hot outside so we can enjoy it.

My brother (Captain Mal) lives up in North Salt Lake, right on the side of one of those mountains. He has the same car, and he loves it. Here's a pic of him down in Moab, doing what it was meant to do. I hope you get plenty of chances to do likewise.
