I just bought a new truck, and now I am faced with the obstacle of transporting my bike. I used to have a Thule rack on my car with 2 bike carriers and 2 wheel holders. However, now I can't just see myself laying my bike in the bed of the truck, nor do I want to use my hitch. So,...for those of you out there with trucks, do you recommend a specific Truck bed, bike holder? I have seen a couple on Performancebike.com, and have also looked at a Thule. Do any of you have them, or have you had experiences with such bike holders?

Sorry, I use the hitch for both our truck and Jeep Liberty.

I mounted Yakima Block Heads to the rail system in my Tacoma, and one to the floor of the bed near the tailgate so I can carry 3 bikes no problem.

The records are the trophies from the 'Disco Tri'

I have used Yakima's Block Heads as well and Yakima's Beddy Jo. Beddy Jo is nice since it is removable, but you have multiple mounting options with the block heads.

Well, thanks for your responses. I have been looking at the yakima block heads and how they easily can attach to the lip of the bed on a truck, however, I went back out to my truck and (all be it, i guess i am slow), i have no lip on my bed. I have a 2008 Honda Ridgeline. No Lips; just flat. So i think i might have to look at one of the spreader bars or something, unless i want to go with a hitch carrier (which i dont!)
