Training While Sick..?

started by macker on May 12, 2008

stuffy nose turned into upper resp. infection. just got antibiotics today. Did not do my long run yesterday and obviously nothing today. I don't want to be too crazy and not rest, but don't want to take too many days off. Thinking may take tomorrow off too, then do some easy cylcing wed. Any thoughts or advice? Note; yesterday felt like crap, but feel much better today...

Your not going to lose a lot of fitness by taking a couple days off. Its better for your body to use the energy to fight off infection then it is to try and get junk workouts in and let the infection sit there for a prolonged period of time.
