First triathlon nears
I just love the burning prep
Now I'm addicted

very punny!
Not tri related, but my favorite haiku.
Haiku's can be fun.
But they sometimes don't make sense.

Whirling synchromesh
Greasy footed night running
Head lamps on and bright
Extreme distance pursuit
Whirling syncromesh life

A dream within reach
Hours of constant effort
Just to cross that line
Tight, black neoprene,
Then the start and the fury;
Arms, elbows, buoys.
Pedal strong, steady
RPM. Stick with the plan.
Enjoy the journey.
Brick legs, or Jell-o?
Focus, hydrate, re-focus;
Be light on those feet.
The finish, the thrill.
Work, sacrifice; big payoff.
Celebrate; repeat.
I'll take a shot:
In our subconsious
Swim Smooth, Bike Strong, Run Hard, Rest
mantra of our sport
Climate gravity friction
our silent adversaries
Good stuff everyone. I'm enjoying this thread.
I guess I have to try one (inspired by my last half):
Standing by the shore
Fog lifts off glassy water
Today is my day
My blog: http://jsktri.blogspot.com
good morning sunshine
calm water and a tail wind
sleeping in today?
Success comes before work only in the dictionary
Early morning swim
Slow, moderate, hard and fast
Perfect stroke is bliss.
Swim first, wet and cool
T1. Bike. wind whistles by,
T2. Run, finish
This race is over, whats next?
Race report, soon. I promise!
effortless circles
flying on my carbon wings
see, my chain is gone

For those unfamiliar with haiku:
"A Japanese poem composed of three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables."
On my bike today
Wind trying to blow me down
Hope to stay upright
