ok so I discovered this on the Fat Cyclist's blog (awesome blog btw!!) What an amazing race, 21 miles and 3 minutes off per donut. There will definatly be some negative splits!!

That's hilarious. Too bad it's the same day as Musselman.

That is so cool :-) Now, if we can get the Tour de Donut followed by a beer mile.... just have to find something for the swim!

hmmm something for the swim maybe minus 3 minutes for every 5lbs of dead weight you swim with? Not quite in the same category but only thing I could think of, unless you put a keg in raft or something and just take swigs of that as you go along swimming.

I live about 10 minutes from American Fork. I might need to seriously consider this. It's the day before my first child is due, so my wife might not support me, but sometimes you have to make sacrifices.

I have been known to eat 12 donuts during a weekend of cycling races anyway. I could destroy this contest! :-)

By the way, there was a long article in bicycling mag a couple of months ago about a similar race. It was pretty hilarious, because the guy was training hard for the tour de donut, but doing more eating than riding. His exploits were quite entertaining, I recommend searching for it if you missed it.
