Duke's bike shop at 625 Queen st west in Toronto was destroyed by fire yesterday. The historic building that housed the 4th generation bike shop (90+ years) collapsed as a result of a 5 alarm fire.
Duke's transformed from a humble sports shop to a cultural hub. "It feels like someone died" said Justine Duke, 32.
It will be missed! I remember many days spent drooling over bikes while I had a wheel trued or some repairs done.
