Glad to hear you are alright! Yuck! Nasty stuff, that. As far as your fitness...the only way to go is up!

Looks like I contracted the same illness as Brad Kahlefeldt, and at about exactly the same time. http://www.triathlon.org/index.php?call=TVRBMg==&keep=sh&nwsid=1723&zhm=...
Thursday passed normally for me, until close to midnight when I was slammed with severe chills and bodyaches out of nowhere. I took some tylenol and went to sleep...for about 17 hours. After spending several days in bed with a fever which eventually reached 104.5, headaches, exhaustion, coughing, labored breathing etc I was diagnosed with pneumonia. Received antibiotics yesterday and now I'm feeling remarkably better, almost to the point where I can't believe I felt so sick.
Now it seems kind of fortunate that I was slacking all fall and only doing unplanned workouts of perhaps 4 hours total a week. I'm not supposed to do much training until my finals are over (they start next week), but since I'm not fit now there isn't much for me to lose :P
