So this is your first? You've picked a good 'first.' The 2009 version will be my second time to do OKC and I'm trying to BQ. I always recommend doing your hometown race as your first (I'm assuming since you put 'OK' in your profile that OKC is at least close). Staying local minimizes the stress and keeps things routine. It's a great course, but you probably know that, and I'm sure you also know about the potential weather. Let's hope for only a slight breeze and 50, not 80 degrees and a sustained 30mph southerly wind.

Yea TriSooner, this is my first mary and I am really looking forward to it. I am from Oklahoma just not OKC. I still live in the area. Good luck on qualifying for Boston. I second the mild temps and light winds but seems like most of my long runs end up on days with gusts of 20-30 anyways....... : )
