Update on the race:

Bike was actually about 24 miles due to construction on one of the highways.

Race day was quite windy(about 20mph), coming directly from the west and crashing up onto shore. Some people did not even start the race due to the high winds, but an 84 year old man finished...go figure.

I did quite well, finishing first in my age group and smoking the bike at 23.1 mph ave.
