Max picked Lake Dennison Recreation Area to host the Massachusetts State Triathlon™ due to its amazing site features. Since we expect a great turnout between the two events, we needed a large and well-organized site - 4,000+ acres should do it. LD is a beautiful location that affords a relatively secluded bike course with some challenging hills. Separate bike and run course and close attention to numerous details will make the two races appear seamless.

This event is the diamond in the rough for Boston-area triathlons for 2008. We even needed to buy a 2nd race arch to help organize the transition area!

Each Max race carries the following ingredients to help ensure fun and accomplishment:
